The canon Benedict has brown hair, hazel eyes, and looks pretty darn anorexic. My version of Benedict looks like Red Mage.
In other words, he looks like THIS.
Apologies for the crappy image quality, but yeah. That's what I think he looks like, more or less. Including the hat. He would make an awesome Red Mage. XD
AAAAAAAAND speaking of Benedict, I figured that I'd post my character journal here so that I'll save trees. And so
So yeah. It's all behind the cut. I must warn you that it's very unrefined. I just wrote it and let it go. Perhaps it's more organic that way. Oh, and it's like, 17 pages long. Well, 10 if it's not in cool swirly font.
Kana’s Log – Part One
Somewhere on the Edge of Arden
I have thought long and hard about how to start this off. This journal may prove to be of help in later years, and I’d very much like to make a catchy introduction in case someone wants to read it. And I’ve finally come to a conclusion.
There is no way to start this off with grace.
None, whatsoever.
I’ve been taken from my homeland (which turns out to not be my homeland at all) by my sensei (who turns out to not be just a sensei) and taken to a place where the people seem to think of everything else as almost insignificant in the grand scheme of things. I’ve also noticed that they seem to enjoy tinkering with reality as we know it. The worst part of it all? No one ever has a strait answer to anything.
Yes. Grace has been scarce lately.
There are three reasons that I’ll be writing all this down. The first is that I can use this as a reference guide as a collection of what I do and learn, so that I can come back later and possibly find clues that have been buried by other events. Secondly, I just need somewhere to rant about how little sense things are making around here. Finally, I know that others like me might exist elsewhere, and I want them to find this journal. That way they’ll get everything in one handy book instead of having to track down this whole new world one random clue at a time like I have.
I am Kana of the Water Tribe. Most of the residents in castle Amber call me “Miss Kana,” and my friends just outright call me Kana. I’ve lived in the North Pole for as long as I can remember (up until recently, of course) and I’m the Avatar of my world. The Avatar’s duty is to master the ability to control and manipulate all four elements (water, earth, fire, and air) and keep peace between the four elemental nations that exist there. I’ve have a pretty good understanding of waterbending (because of my location) and I have a basic grasp of the other elements. I’m also entitled to some other powers such as a connection to the spirit world and some sort of “Avatar State” but those are almost a mystery to me. I have a spirit guide, a water dragon, who’s been with me almost as long as I’ve been alive. He’s a good friend, and he assists me with transportation and my waterbending. There’s a lot more I could tell you about my life, but those details aren’t terribly important to this particular tale.
A couple of weeks ago, I was still on my world, just practicing my waterbending by my favorite stream. Nothing out of the ordinary; it’s all I really do in my free time besides reading. Out of the corner of my eye, I sensed movement and reached for my shuriken, but I had no need since it was only my sensei.
Sensei has been with me longer than my water dragon has. He hasn’t exactly filled the role of a family member or anything, but he’s taught me some of what he knows and has usually kept an eye on me to keep me out of trouble. I once learned that his real name was “Benedict,” but I still call him Sensei. I guess I do consider him family, just not as a father or anything.
It’s complicated. I’ll explain later.
Upon seeing him there by the river, I was startled to see that he had lost most of one of his arms. I went up to him, and bowed respectfully. I wanted to ask him what happened, and to know just who would be strong enough to take off the arm of a man I’ve never seen lose a fight. However, I also figured that it might offend him… Being reminded of his loss, so I asked him instead, “Are you all right?” I’ve gotten cut before, but a whole limb? I still shiver at the thought of that much pain.
He said, “I lost focus.” as way of answer. It’s fairly cryptic, but that’s also pretty common with him. Still… Sensei loosing focus? If I’ve learned anything from my years of training with him, it’s that the man’s nothing but focus. But then he told me something even stranger. He told me that he was going to take me home.
This is pretty much when things stopped making sense. I was home, wasn’t I? First sensei is missing an arm, then he tells me that he’s taking me to somewhere that I already am? I would have questioned him, but I think that my brain was stuck on a double take. All that I could manage was a very unsure sounding “Okaaaay…”
He asked me if there was anything I needed to get before we left. So he was obviously talking about going somewhere else, so why was he calling it home? Was it, perhaps, his home? Since everything of importance to me is kept on my person or near me at all times, there was nothing I needed. I did suggest getting some provisions, but he said that we wouldn’t be needing them for this short trip.
So we were going somewhere else that was close by, and he called it “home.” Two and two were being added together, and I kept getting a five as the result.
He reached down into a wooden box at his hip and pulled out a card. It looked a great deal like a Tarot card that I’ve seen used in fortune telling stores and such. He focused on the image on the card, and after a few moments of silence, he told me to hold on to his shoulder.
I’ve never known sensei to do anything without good reason, and he seemed to know what he was doing… So I decided to trust him. I made sure that my water dragon was with me, and I put my hand on his shoulder.
Now, I still don’t have a total understanding of how this works (I’m not sure that anyone does, really) but suddenly the scenery become distorted—almost magnified—and we were suddenly “pulled through” the card and landed in another place the likes of which I had never seen.
First off, the room was pure white. I thought for a while that it might have been snow, but upon further reflection I’ve decided that the walls were much too straight and perfect for it to be an igloo of any sort. There were strange things lying around on tables, and someone else was there with us. She had red hair (a startling difference from the white walls) and was smiling sweetly at us. Sensei went over to her and started speaking in a language that I had never heard before. I stayed where I was, and I’m not going to pretend that I wasn’t confused as all hell. That was when sensei told me to go and touch this silver ball that was in the middle of the room. I asked what would happen, but he didn’t offer any explanation.
Yes Kana, why don’t you go up and touch this mysterious silver thing that sitting in a mysterious room in the middle of a mysterious Gods-know-where. It was a pretty risky thing to ask me to do. It could have electrocuted me for all I knew. Perhaps it was all some strange (albeit twisted) test to see how I’d react. Maybe not. Maybe they’d all just gone mad.
But I touched it anyway. Not the smartest choice I’ve ever made based on what I knew—practically nothing. The moment I touched it, it did feel like some electricity shot up my arm, and pulled my hand off like a normal person would from a hot stove.
And then I became fairly light-headed and fell on my knees. I’m pretty sure that the electricity feeling was still there. But the weirdest part of it all was that I suddenly understood a whole new language. I don’t know how to explain it; it’s just that one minute there was nothing there, then this whole language just unfolded in my mind… Like a book, only faster.
My head began to clear, and I was able to stand up again. Sensei asked if I could understand him, and I said that I could… Hr and I both spoke in that strange language I heard them speak earlier. He pulled out another Tarot card, and quickly told me that the woman in the room was my aunt Fiona. She waved at me nicely from where she stood at her introduction, and I managed a little wave back. So, I’ve just gained a family member? Where has she been all this time? Why has no one told me about all this? Were there other people like this… Aunt?
Right after telling me to hold on to his shoulder again, Sensei added, “Oh yes, you should also know that I’m your father.”
Puts a twisted irony on that whole “family but not a parent” thing I wrote earlier, huh? Welcome to Amber.
I don’t even think I even remember the strange warped feel the second time we went through the card. I was too busy trying to grasp that Sensei was related to me. It actually explained quite a bit. I’m thankful he didn’t ask for a reaction, because I probably would have just babbled on incomprehensively at that point.
When we came back on the other side of the card, we were in Amber. Now, you probably found this book in the library or in my room (why the hell were you in my room?) so you probably already know what Castle Amber looks like. Green lawns, stone pillars, snobby people. The whole castle getup and everything. The first room I saw was actually a hallway connected to our rooms, and it was full of the most peculiar people. They all bore resemblance to humans, but it was obvious that they weren’t. At least, not completely. There was the girl, dressed in a foreign ninja outfit, whose facial features reminded me strangely of a snake. There was a strange man in the corner who looked incredibly happy and seemed to be shedding sparkles. Another girl, whom I’ve leaned, is half-demon, looked so strange to me. I hardly ever see people like that, even during short visits to the spirit world. There was even some sort of a lycanthrope with the group, although I didn’t understand that he was such until later.
Sensei met with another man in this hallway, and then left. We were directed to our rooms, and told that we were to wait there until the King could meet with us. I went in the room and shut the door behind me, grateful to be out of the group of people. At least they hadn’t asked me to take my mask off.
I should tell you right now to clear up any future confusion; I really don’t like people looking at me. Eye contact is difficult at times. I almost can’t stand to take my mask off around others. Perhaps it’s some reaction that’s been hammered into me due to my ninja upbringing… But I just don’t like people looking at me.
Perhaps that’s my reminder that I have flaws. That I’m human.
Half human, at least.
What I really wanted to do just then was collapse on the bed and sleep. I’d just been warped to another world, learned a whole other language, and was about to go meet a King along with several other people that had looked just as lost as I was. In fact, a lot of them looked about my age too. Perhaps we were all in the same boat.
Sleep was a very inviting concept, but it would have to wait. I decided to check out my surroundings first. It was actually a fairly well furnished room. I had been to the Earth Nation palace in Ba-Sing Sei once before, but most of its rooms weren’t as nice as this. I guess this meant I was someone fairly important here, too.
Other than some furniture and some portraits on the walls, nothing of use or anything suspicious. I checked out the books on the wall, hoping that they may give me some information as to my predicament, but they were pretty much just things like poetry and old literature.
Another thing I’ve learned about Amber; the books usually aren’t very helpful. They’ll tell you all you need to know about stuff that you don’t need to know about.
After seeing nothing wrong with the room, I slept. That bed was the comfiest damn thing I have ever slept on.
But my rest was over far too quickly. Someone knocked on my door, saying that the King requested my presence. Outside, the others that had been brought to Amber were gathered. It was then that I noticed a most peculiar creature sitting next to the demon girl. I later learned that this is a Swamp Weasel. My water dragon and it seem to get along wonderfully. It’s good to know that at least one of us is having fun.
We were all herded toward the throne room. Once inside, we met a couple other relatives; one named Martin and one named Gerard. And then there was the king. The man who had been directing us-Eric, I believe his name was-bowed, and many of the others followed suit. However, myself and a couple others did not. Despite whatever blood flows in my veins, I hold no allegiance to him. Partially because I’m the Avatar and can’t play favorites, and partially because I just didn’t really like the guy on first looks.
He took note on who bowed and who didn’t, and then he started explaining things. The general gist of what he said is that all the people who had been brought there were technically related, and that Amber is the center of all existence. Everything else is just a shadow, or a copy of Amber. He also told us about this big war going on, and how he and many of the other family members are going off to fight. This included Sensei.
Gerard was going to stay behind and run things while he was gone, and Martin was going to train us. We were to stay behind and help defend Amber. He also mentioned in there somewhere that we were taken out of our worlds because of some ripple effect going on through shadow, and I still worry that it has damaged… Or even destroyed my home. However, I have yet to find time to see.
Although… I still think it’s terribly convenient how we were “saved” from this shadow effect and brought to Amber at the same time that they were in the middle of a giant war. In fact, I’ve started to think that maybe we weren’t here because of the war at all. It sounds crazy, but there’s this little voice in my head that pipes up from time to time. What if the war and the ripple was just some cover up for some greater purpose that we’re supposed to serve?
I kept this all to myself, of course.
So there we were. We were being ordered to defend Amber and to serve the royal family. We would be trained in weapons, etiquette, ect, and we would have to do pretty much everything we were told.
And I thought being the spirit bridge was a sucky job.
We were excused, and then were taken on a small tour of the town. We stopped to eat at a semi-nice restaurant of sorts. There were chairs there. I hate chairs. I had to sit in them on that visit to Ba-Sing Sei I was telling you about. After debating for a moment, I sat in them as I would normally, except that I was 2 feet off the ground. I hate chairs.
I’m also still getting used to forks, but that’s another story. Hey; if you think it’s funny, I’d like to see you try and use a pair of chopsticks for once. You’ll know what I mean.
I had soup. It was okay. Then I had sake. And that was better.
Some of us, myself included, left early. I jumped from roof to roof, going straight back to the castle. I wanted to do some more exploring. The first place on my list: The library.
Like I said earlier, the books in Amber were of no help. In the library there were books on every wall and stacks of scrolls up to the ceiling, but nothing helpful. Even the history books failed me. I got something about a corn war, but that’s about it.
Of course, when I finally read the book (it’s called “A History of Amber.” Save yourself a lot of trouble and don’t read it) I noticed that most of the royal family was mentioned in it. Even Sensei. But the weird thing is… That means that pretty much everyone here is over thousands of years old.
I wondered if I’d live that long too. Pretty mind-blowing stuff.
I couldn’t find any maps of the castle either. The closest thing I found was a large map hanging on the wall that showed Amber, Arden (the forest near it) some mountains, the ocean on the other side, and then some detached places to the sides. It didn’t really make sense at the time, and it certainly didn’t help me either.
So I gave up for the night and went to my bedroom to sleep.
Of course I was awakened a few hours later by some sort of earthquake. I looked out the window to see a typhoon forming and coming my way. The earthquakes started to get worse. Oh yeah, and there was a tsunami coming toward us too.
So I left my room and looked for others. The castle was literally falling apart above me. I found one of the others on the floor and tried to drag them out… But then there was this huge booming sound. The sound of several thousand gallons of water hitting the side of the castle. Mere moments later, I was his with something. Hard. My first reaction was to push away with airbending, and that’s probably what saved my life.
After a few moments of silence, I opened my eyes only to be greeted with pitch black darkness. I was still surrounded by an air bubble. I thought for a minute that I was perhaps buried under rubble or had fallen into some unknown chamber of the palace, but it didn’t quite feel like it.
Then it hit me. I was under water.
I figured that the air bubble would eventually help me float to the surface, but after a few moments with absolutely no change in scenery, I was beginning to doubt if I was even moving at all. I was startled by a wriggling in my shirt; perhaps a fish or something had gotten in there on the way down… But it was thankfully just my water dragon.
After more waiting, I began to worry about how long I could keep up the air bubble. I lit a small flame and was suddenly face to face with a very scary fish. It had a little glowing light in front of it, and it had teeth the size of my hand. I nearly lost my concentration at the sight of the thing.
Then I saw that it was slightly sideways. I realigned by bubble so that it was the correct way, and then shot upwards toward what had to be the surface.
Thankfully it started to get lighter as I got near the top, but it surprised me just how far down I had gotten in so little time. Near the top, something splashed down next to me. It was one of the strangers from shadow, the elf one; I believe her name is Alhuion. She was unconscious and her arm was bent in about three more ways then it should have been.
So I pulled her into the bubble and took her up to the surface with me. After all, what is family for, right?
We finally hit air again. My water dragon expanded by taking in water from around us, and then I got on and dragged up Alhuion too. Once up in the air, I realized that we were completely surrounded by water.
We were so ridiculously far away from the castle; I’m beginning to think that it was more than just the tsunami that brought us out there. Maybe we were picked up by the typhoon too.
After scanning the horizon for a while, I was able to make out a tiny pinprick of land out in the distance, so we headed toward it. Alhuion wasn’t breathing, so I managed to bend out any water she had inhaled. She woke up, saw her arm, and passed out again.
Talk about dead weight. At least she was alive.
After a while of flying toward that speck of land, there was this weird sort of bump on the side of my mind. If you’ve ever been trumped, you know what it feels like. It took me a second to open the connection (since I wasn’t really sure what I was doing at the time). Gerard was on the other end. He inquired as to where I was… And I said that I wasn’t quite sure myself. He then said he’d pull me through. After telling him about Alhuion, he pulled us all through and back to Castle Amber.
It was a mess over there. The castle was fairly beat up, but the town was almost completely obliterated. And, call me crazy, but I’m pretty sure that there was a whale carcass up against the castle wall. Bits of it were splattered everywhere.
Suddenly being dunked underwater didn’t seem so bad; it meant that I hadn’t been splattered with the stuff.
I was told to go help. So I did. I moved rubble with earthbending, and we got people out of the rubble and into a makeshift hospital being run by Kage and Happy Bubble Pie (the snake and the sparkly one).
I got to ask Gerard just what the hell happened, but all he told me was that it had something to do with King Oberon re-writing the universe.
I knew there was a reason I didn’t like him.
And then we were told to go sleep. I was incredibly tired after all that bending work and I fell asleep without incident.
Training began the next day. After breakfast, we had to go practice short range weaponry with Martin. I will be honest with you; I sucked at it. I’m used to long range attacks. The only short range stuff I’m used to is with a Katana from behind, completely silent. So I got my ass handed to me.
However, I wasn’t the worst at it. I’m glad that my training paid off at least a little.
Then we had to go train our psyches. I did poorly at this too, but like the last challenge, I wasn’t the worst. However, it takes a lot of mental power to bend, and I’m surprised at how easily I was beaten.
And then they made us run in full body plate mail. I was the worst. I’m built for speed, not armor, dammit! That better have made me faster, or there’ll be hell to pay.
The only think I excelled in was riding. Now, I’m used to Reindeer (they’d look something like a deer with very long hair and longer, ram-like horns), so riding horses was a bit odd at first. I got it eventually though.
After a week or so of this training, we’re asked to go help out in the forest. Apparently there’s some sort of carnivore out nearer to the outskirts of Arden, and they believe it’s the cause of some recent disappearances. We set out at once; Eric was very anxious to get going. It amused me greatly to see Morganus (cat) and Allana (demon) try and get around in the forest. It was almost like moles trying to navigate above ground in broad daylight.
After about a day’s walking, we stopped at the ranger’s post to find out more about just where we were going and what we were up against. They weren’t able to give us much more information than what we already knew, so we set out again the next morning.
Despite the fact that we were basically doing someone else’s dirty work, I was actually enjoying myself. I was outside again, surrounded by plants and wildlife instead of being locked behind stone. Perhaps I should come out here more often.
Then we found the cottage.
We actually smelled the smoke first. We followed the trail and discovered that it was coming from the chimney of a small cottage. We did a quick look around, but nothing seemed too out of order. So the guys knocked on the door.
They were answered by a little old lady. Boy, if that isn’t ye olde cliché, I’m not sure what is.
They asked a couple of questions, like how long she’d been out here, and if she’d seen anything odd lately. She said she’d been out there for a couple of years, and that she hadn’t seen anything. Then she invited them inside. Three of them went in (Eric, Cre, and Morgance) but Alana and I stayed outside. The lady closed the door behind her.
I was still unsatisfied. Why would there be an old lady, all alone, out in the middle of Arden, with no one knowing about her beforehand? I checked the ground for footprints and looked to see if any of the trees in the area had been knocked over or scratched up… But still found nothing.
Still… It just didn’t feel right. That little voice was acting up again. There was something wrong with this whole situation.
So I jumped up into a tree and waited.
After a while, Cre sauntered out of the house, and started to sleep where he was standing. I was debating whether or not I should wake him up, but before I could make up my mind, I noticed that he was slowly sinking. I also noticed that the cottage was getting smaller.
That’s when it hit me; the old woman, the cottage, the ground… This whole area was the monster! The cottage must have been some sort of lure, just like the light I saw in front of the fish way back in the middle of the ocean!
So I did the first thing that came to mind; I threw attacks at it. Ice attacks, fire attacks, and even my shuriken all failed to do anything but make it move more. What I previously thought was a fence turned into sharp teeth that started to rise above us. Those trapped in the house started hacking their way out, and Cre finally woke up. He helped to tear open an exit for the others.
We all managed to get out of the thing’s mouth before it closed. Once on the outside, it was obvious that it was actually some sort of worm—a 30-foot long worm. No sooner had it risen out of the earth did Cre jump right back inside it.
I wonder if recklessness is also an Amberite trait. Despite their constant planning and scheming, they do tend to take stupid risks quite a bit. I myself am not excluded from this point.
It made a couple dives at the group, and our attacks didn’t seem to be affecting it. However, when I froze a portion of its face, I’m pretty sure it lost some of its vision. It freaked out and started crawling away toward what I’m told is shadow territory. We all followed, except for Morgance. Alanna and I combined our talents (her ability to fly and my airbending) to get ahead of the worm, and then I hit it in the head with a boulder.
…what? It seemed like a good idea at the time.
It didn’t really slow it down much. We did, however, manage to herd it toward the sea instead of shadow. I was incredibly exhausted after this, and realized that I wasn’t going to be of much help in my current state. I saw that Cre had managed to claw his way out of the inside of the worm and was currently sitting on top of it.
So I figured I might as well get a free lift while it was available. Alanna helped drop me off on top of the monster, where I promptly took a nap.
A half-hour later, we hit the ocean, where I froze the thing solid. The only problem was that now we had a 30-foot long frozen, carnivorous worm on our hands, and we couldn’t do much with it. Bringing it back to Amber wasn’t much of an option, and we couldn’t just leave it out there to defrost and wreak further havoc…
So we pushed it into the ocean. The general theory is that it would unfreeze out in the middle of nowhere, and then drown. If not… Well, now it was someone else’s problem.
My water dragon expanded, we picked up Morgance and the swamp weasel, and headed back for home. Job well done, I’d say. Morgance even said that she took care of its eggs when she stayed behind.
So my question is this; how did this thing get into Arden? They can’t be a natural species, because the rangers had no idea what it was and didn’t recognize it’s behavior. It can’t have possibly traveled here from nearby lands, because as far as I can tell, there are no lands around Amber except for shadow. Can these creatures travel through shadow? Or did someone bring it here from shadow? If someone did bring it here, what could they possibly hope to achieve by doing this?
Or perhaps… This was all some sort of test.
But who would be testing us?
Or maybe I’m just paranoid.
Once again, we all got home and I promptly slept until noon. When I went to breakfast, there were letters waiting for me. They were all invitations to places by some very important people. All of the others got letters too.
There was in invitation to go visit somewhere called Rebma and another to some Weir place. I kind of skipped over the details. There was also an invite to the Church of the Unicorn, but I skipped over that one too. Religion is certainly not something I’d like to get tangled up in. Lastly, there was an invitation to some place called Argentem Leange, but I had never heard of it.
Everyone else went off on the invites, but I stayed at the castle. I had no idea who there people were, where they where, and why they were inviting me. It was probably all based off some political jargon and an attempt to better align themselves with Amber. If there’s one thing I won’t stand, it’s being used as leverage.
So I went back to the library. I spend a great deal of time in that room; I might as well set up a bed on top of a shelf so that I’d never have to leave. What can I say… I prefer books to people.
I started with digging up some information this Argentem Leange. What came out of it was that it was part of the “Golden Circle,” which I read is a circle of places where Amber trades with frequently. This made the map on the wall make a little more sense; the disconnected places must be part of the circle. As proof, Argentem Leange was one of them.
When I went to put the book back, I noticed that the bookshelf was about an inch farther away from the wall than usual. Curious as to why, I pulled it away from the wall. Behind it was a shaft with a ladder leading down. I lit a small flame to see better with, but the shaft continued downward so far that it didn’t help me to see much.
So I’ve discovered a secret passage in Amber. I wonder who else knew about it? I understand that the castle changes from time to time, so I also wonder just how long it’s been there.
I climbed onto the ladder and closed the bookshelf behind me, noting that the ladder also went upwards. Then, light in hand, I traveled downwards as quietly as I could in case someone else was down there. The shaft was surprisingly dust-free, and that combined with the earlier opened bookshelf suggested that someone was down here recently.
The first thing I came to was a landing. It was made of stone like everything else down there, and the only thing on it was a pile of straw and a blanket that was literally falling apart. I guess it made a sort of makeshift bed, but for who, I still don’t know.
Continuing downwards, I found a door to the kitchen. When I went all the way to the top of the ladder, I ended up in the Royal Chambers. One room below that was, surprisingly, my room. I stepped out of the passage here for a moment and marked the wall where the passage was so that I could find it later. Sliding all the way down the ladder, I found a door on the ground that led to some sort of dungeons. I checked out all of the cells, and they were all empty except for one containing “Tim.” As far as I could tell, the guy was nuts, and probably down there for that reason.
There was the cell across from him, and looking through the slot in the door, I saw something strange on the walls. I managed to pick the lock and enter, keeping the lock on the door so that I can close it again quickly in case there was something in there that needed to be locked up.
There were some scorch marks on the floor, and there were pictures carved into the walls. One wall showed a lighthouse, and the other showed what looked like some sort of office.
I found nothing else of interest in the shaft or the dungeons, so I left through the library exit, leaving the door about an inch away from the wall, exactly the way I had found it. If someone was using this passageway, and they saw that the bookshelf had been pushed back in… Then they may suspect that someone else knows about it. The less suspicion toward me, the better.
It was getting late, so I went back to my room. I made a quick sketch of the passageway before I retired to bed:

That leads us to today. We got our trump cards today (they’re those cards that people use to talk to one another) and we got to practice with them a bit. They could really come in handy sometime.
And then we were basically set loose for the day. Morgance and Alanna went off toward the forest so that they could get better accustomed to it. I came too, so that I could have some quiet time and write this journal.
That shaft has me very worried. Whoever’s been using it has access to some very important parts of the castle, including my room.
I’ll go back sometime soon and poke around some more. Hopefully I’ll pull up something that will give me a clue as to who I’m dealing with.

- The worm was much longer than 30 feet.
- Kage (Tori's character) is actually male.
- The top of your map should be "Royal Chamgers" not "Royal Guest Chambers." Yes, it was Oberon's bedroom. =)

So I guess we're talking ACTUALL asteriod worm size here?
Right. Kage. Male. I've seen the character on Naruto; I should know this by now. XP Will keep in mind for next entry.
...oh. Riiiiiiiight. I'll have to fix that. I'm printing out my cool map thing, so now it'll be accurate.
Go ahead and link away! ^_^
