The gameplay looks iffy to me just from the trailer, but the chance to wander around Arkham while punching psychopathic inmates in the face in true Batman-brawler style? I'm sold.

The Dark Knight may have spoiled me for any and all portrayals of the Joker I will ever find, but my little fangirly heart flutters with glee to hear Kevin Conroy doing Batman's voice again. ♥

Finished reading The Dark Knight Returns. In the end I didn't really like it; Bruce was kinda crazy but his crazy was boring, and half the story was a bunch of people on the news squabbling about whether Batman is a killer or a good guy, and watching a bunch of sixty-year-old men beat the crap out of crime just isn't my idea of a good time.

I think it's an acquired taste thing, since my mom loves it. XD

I need more Avatar icons, and I need more Batman icons. Don't expect me to be on much for the nest few days, because I'm going places with my folks and such. Family fun time, woot!

Today was made of awesome. Woke up at like, eleven, went to go see The Dark Knight again, this time with my family. One of the previews was for this epic car battle movie or something, but I heard this familiar guitar music in the background and started freaking out when I realized it was "Welcome to the Jungle". I was all, "OH MY GOD IT'S GUNS N' ROSES! I LOVE THIS SONG! ♥" Because I never recognize any music playing anywhere. To top it all off, a couple trailers later I recognized "Sympathy for the Devil" by the Rolling Stones and I was just like, wow. They picked good music this time around. :D Lots of good trailers lately, too. It looks like some good stuff is coming up, I'm excited.

Seeing The Dark Knight again was super-special-awesome. I loved it even more this time around, and the audience actually laughed and cheered and gave collective sighs when they were supposed to. Brandy, whaddya say next week we hop on the 130-whatever bus and see it at that new AMC theatre? 83 Kiley's already seen it, so.

Gaming on the weekend was also fabulous. My sexy vampire character now has a harem of goth chicks, and a girlfriend that can bring in half the military whenever I ask. I hope I can show up for the next game, at least, because I like it when I actually do something right for once. 8) Also, I made more icons out of the quotes from our game while I waited for the new Wiki to register. These are mostly for cochese and myself, but I dunno, maybe one of you guys would like them. Just as warning, this batch contains sex jokes, dead babies, racism, drugs, and the other sorts of things that slip out of teenagers' mouths when they're being attacked by the forces of evil. I doubt many of these will make sense, even with me explaining the context. :)

So I had this weird-ass dream where I was in (and at the same time, watching) some old Batman movie (that consequently doesn't actually exist; my brain made the whole thing up) and there was lots of dancing on rooftops and strange monkey-goblin people who lived in this vast underground cavern who turned out to be demons because they got all fangy and ew after a while. I think they were the bad guys, blah blah blah ritual sacrifice. But then we escaped, and Batman was just sort of like, "._." the whole time. We ended up in the ocean somehow (maybe the monkey-goblins lived underwater?) and then the Devil came up to the surface and he looked a lot like David Bowie. And then we made a deal with him, though idk what it was. Something to do with half a soul, or half a day. OR BOTH. And there was Fall Out Boy music. I remember thinking in the dream, when it zoomed out and showed that I was actually watching the movie and wasn't in the movie) that Fall Out Boy wasn't even around when this non-existent movie was made, wtf.

Because the day I have a dream that makes perfect logical sense will be the day a universe explodes for no real reason.

Although I have noticed that in almost all my dreams, there's me, some other person who's pretty important to my dream's vague storyline, and then a couple other people who just follow us around. The couple other people aren't really given depth, and I don't know what they really look like, and they usually don't say anything, they're just... Around. Like NPC party members or something.

OBSERVATION: This is the third dream I've had this week.

CONCLUSION: I should stop eating cake right before going to bed at one in the morning. :T

RANDOM: I wish I lived in HKI Hollow Bastion. It's like, my favorite video game setting ever because it's just so hip.
