Yesterday I took the day off because if I didn't, I was going to go insane and snap at someone or have a mental breakdown in front of my boss or something unfortunate and embarrassing like that. I went to the Pride Parade and had a blast with friends. Got my face all sunburned, but I have no regrets. Also went on a hike yesterday morning, which made me feel pretty hardcore. I've decided that the next Monday I get off, I'm going to go to the aquarium and draw fish all day.

I've decided to at least take every other Sunday off for the game, because I need that day full of lulz more than I need a couple of demos, I think.

Also, there's nothing like spending ten hours in a crowded children's museum to reaffirm the fact that I'm never having children. After today I decided I'm not even going to adopt a child. I'm sticking to adopting cats. Because children scream and cry and push other children off the toys and pretend to shoot each other and drool all over the place. Cats don't do that. Cats just sit there and annoy you when you're trying to write a paper. That, I can handle. If I shove a cat off the desk, it will just walk off annoyed or try to bug me again. I cannot shove a child off a desk without being arrested.

For the love of Pete, there were these two girls who I thought were going to eat each other or something. They were fighting over who got to push the buttons at the little play-cashier thing. And then they like, went for each others' faces.

But the little boy I was babysitting was so adorable and nice and well mannered and quiet. He didn't scream or cry or anything. And even when mean kids shoved him off the rides, he just backed off and quietly waited for them to leave so that he could have a turn. I really hope that boy doesn't ever lose that, because it's a people skill that most of the human race seems to be lacking. It was so weird when a parent would apologize to me instead of him... But that's probably because he's, you know, two and a half. But still. I'm not the one that got pushed off the ride. Make your kid apologize. MANNERS, THEY START AT AN EARLY AGE, PEOPLE.

I kind of randomly want to read the Fullmetal Alchemist manga or like, Bleach, or D.Gray-Man, or go out and buy the whole Devil May Cry franchise and play/watch/read that. flkadfjas I want some new fandoms, but I don't want to spend like, weeks trying to read them. Anyone have any animanga stuff they could recommend that's not, like, epic in size? Bonus points if it's already ended, because I don't like getting the rest of the story in little pieces like, once a month. XD; I'll forget what's already happened.

So it turns out that my friends and I can all participate in the Washington caucus after all! As long as you turn 18 by the time the big election rolls around, you can get in. I found this to be super, super nifty and all the senior class is excited about it.

It's so weird to see a bunch of teenagers excited about politics, but whatever. Me and my hippy friends are gonna go in there and be all, IN UR COUNTRY, ANALYZING UR CANDIDATES.

I just gotta go find documented proof to validate my existence first, lame. >:

In other news, the How's My Driving meme went well. I'm rather pleased with myself, and I'm glad people like Nill as much as I do. ♥ I have a loss planned for Zelman in a few weeks, but after that I'm gonna lay off on messing with him since he's been an attention whore for the last month. I have other characters I should be paying attention to. :T

Mrs. Lovett application is hard. Does anyone remember if the movie gave her a first name? Otherwise I'll have to pick from one of her many different names from different versions of the musical/movie/books.

I get to fill out my Evergreen application and FAFSA stuff today, yay. And when I say 'yay', I really mean, 'ohgodwhy'. It'd be so easy if we just had the taxes on file, but I can't find them. :/ So I have to ask my dad to get them and it's turning into more of a hassle than it needs to be, I think.
